Simcoe-Muscoka Orthopaedics is an affiliation of independent medical physicians and surgeons serving primarily Central and South-Western Ontario. We are united in our drive to provide quality, timely subspecialty orthopedic care to our patients. Through community education and local health-care quality initiatives, we hope to continue to advance the delivery of musculoskeletal care throughout the region.
Each surgeon provides subspecialty assessments for a variety of orthopedic conditions, in addition to providing trauma coverage through Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
Surgeons at Simcoe-Muskoka Orthopaedics are fellowship trained with unique subspecialty interests. They are supported by experienced administrative assistants and patient-care coordinators who are often the first point of contact for patients. We work alongside allied health care professionals from a variety of backgrounds in the interest of integrating and optimizing patient care.
Located in the heart of Ontario's lake country, Soldiers' Memorial Hospital is a community hospital providing regional programs, as well as surgical and medical services to the residents of Simcoe County and Muskoka. For over a century, the Orillia Soldiers' healthcare team has been acknowledged and respected for providing exceptional care and service to patients. Soldiers' Memorial Hospital vision is Excellent Compassionate Care...Every Day.
The North Simcoe Muskoka Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is a crown agency designed to plan, integrate and fund local health services, including hospitals, community care access centers (CCAC), abd long-term care homes. Improved wait times in emergency rooms, expanded care for seniors, hip fracture care networks and multi-disciplinary arthritis assessment centers are just a few of the initiatives that have seen our residences receive quality and timely care close to home.
