Brent Mollon, MD FRCSC MSc

Dr. Mollon is an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in arthroscopy and shoulder and elbow reconstruction. His clinical interests include the management of rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, shoulder/elbow arthritis, and soft tissue injuries around the knee (i.e. meniscal tears, ligamentous injuries). Like his colleagues, he participates in the management of general orthopaedic trauma as an active staff member of Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. He is a candidate member of the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow surgeons and an active member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.

In addition to clinical work, Dr. Mollon continues to participate in research projects pertaining to Shoulder/Elbow surgery, cartilage regeneration, orthopaedic trauma and health system quality or improvement. He continues to publish articles in peer-reviewed journals such as The British Medical Journal, Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, and Osteoarthritis & Cartilage. He is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, and is currently completing an executive MSc. in Health Economics, Policy and Management at the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.
