Mark Miller MD FRCSC

Dr. Miller is an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in trauma and lower extremity reconstruction.  He has recently joined the group at Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital and is looking forward to beginning as a staff orthopaedic surgeon in July 2018.  His clinical interests include primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, acute adult and paediatric orthopaedic trauma, and the management of post-traumatic arthritis, non-unions and deformity correction.

After completing his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Toronto, Dr. Miller went on to pursue a year of subspecialty trauma training at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver General Hospital).  Following this he went on to pursue an additional year of fellowship training in lower extremity reconstruction at Dalhousie University (QE2 – Halifax Infirmary).  Dr. Miller strives to continually advance his orthopaedic knowledge and is a member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.  Dr. Miller is originally from nearby Parry Sound, ON and is thrilled to be putting his training and expertise to use close to his home community.
