Raaj Vora, MD FRCSC

Dr. Vora is an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in hip and knee reconstruction and traumatology. His clinical interests include the management of hip and knee arthritis and revision hip and knee replacements. In addition to his elective practice, he has an interest in both acute and chronic orthopaedic trauma. He spent six months in India treating patients with fracture related complications such as non-union, mal-union, infection and deformity. He participates in general orthopaedic trauma as an active staff member at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.

In order to provide the best patient care, Dr. Vora continues to search for new techniques and procedures to improve patient outcomes following hip and knee procedures.  He is adaptive and stays up-to-date with research to ensure that patients are receiving care based on science and evidence.  He has recently taken an interest in the direct anterior approach, a muscle sparing approach for total hip replacement.
